After completing his undergraduate degree at the Padjadjaran University Medical School in 1985, Dr. Sjahbudi joined the Indonesian Air Force (TNI AU) and was posted in numerous air force bases around the country. He graduated from his ophthalmology residency at University of Indonesia Medical School in 1997 and was posted in Iswahyudi Air Force Base in Magetan, Adisucipto Air Force Base in Jogjakarta, and Halim Perdana Kusuma Air Force Base in Jakarta. Dr. Sjahbudi joined KMN EyeCare in 2004.
